The Missing Americans Project
Build awareness of the problems of Americans missing in foreign countries;
* Increase the accountability and transparency of U.S. State Department processes where missing Americans are concerned.
* Lobby for legal and policy changes where necessary.
* Develop a global rapid-response network that is not subject to the same bureaucratic wrangling as the U.S. State Department is.
* Advocate for the interests of the families of missing Americans

My friend Jeanne sent out this appeal on my behalf after receiving my email and I thought I WILL FORWARD THIS. What if? I wanted to share this article with you all. Debbie Culberson and Todd Matthews of the Doe Network are currently in Washington DC supporting a new program that is designed to help possibly bring closure to many families to continue to wait for answers for their missing loved ones. The program is designed to match unidentified human remains with a database of entries submitted. This is very important and very much needed across the world. I'm very proud of this program and the fact that Debbie Culberson, Todd Matthews and others have stepped forward to help create this system to help the hundreds of families who could quite possibly have an answer now if this system was already in place. Please take a look at this. Thanks to all who took time to read this.

Information: My name is Monica Caison and I finally got the case that "if solved" would be my life's full circle. This woman, Melinda was the older sister of two teens I lived across the street from and was close friends with, when I was a teenager.
I speak of this case often to those who know me, as this was one of the families I was exposed to that suffered a missing person in my life. The case is so old and so cold and I need everyone's help to check doe files because I believe she might have already been found.
There is a lot to be done and I have met with all concerned. I will also attempt to make a visit to all the players in the case as I grew up in this neighborhood and someone knows something. After reading the case file I believe I already have an idea of some goals here.
It has taken me years for me to persuade people to get hold of this case, I am excited to go back to my roots and help the ones who have know me almost all of my life.
