Sueann Ray's Killer Sentenced Today

Sueann Ray's Killer Sentenced Today

Today in a Pickens County court room, Quinton Ray, entered a plea of Guilty for the murder of Sueann Ray who was missing for six months in August 2005. Today was a very difficult day in that the District Attorney read the transcripts from the wire tap where Quinton revealed how he planned Sueann's murder and then carried it out. The details were very graphic and disgusting to hear. He avoided a jury trial and the death penalty and now will begin serving 2 life sentences with the possibility of parole in 20 years. His father was given 5 years probation for his role in helping Quinton move Sueann's van to the Wal-mart parking lot. We believe he helped Quinton carry Sueann's body to the grave in the woods on Cherokee Gold trail, but that was never proven in court.

Please see the article below which includes video. Today is not a victory for the family of Sueann Ray. Although her killer will more than likely never walk the streets as a free man again, Sueann will never be with us again. We'll only have memories. Let's not forget the victims.
