Kansas City, Missouri – For the fourth year, volunteers from the North Carolina-based CUE Center for Missing Persons will travel across the U.S. to raise awareness of missing children and adults. The team will be in Kansas City on June14th, to attend their pre planned rally stop hosted by the family of Summer Shipp and other families of the missing; media outlets are invited; CUE will be distributing a trail of CD’s, press kits and valuable information concerning those missing, of cases gone cold. Sikeston, Missouri – For the fourth year, volunteers from the North Carolina-based CUE Center for Missing Persons will travel across the U.S. to raise awareness of missing children and adults. The team will be in Sikeston on June 12thth, to attend their pre planned rally stop hosted by the Scott County Search & Rescue Team and Miner Police Department; media outlets are invited; CUE will be distributing a trail of DVD’s, press kits and valuable information concerning those missing, of cases gone cold.
One case in particular will be that of Cheryl Ann Scherer, who went missing nearly 29 years ago from Scott County, Missouri.
Cheryl went to work on Tuesday, April 17, 1979, at Rhodes 101 in Scott City, MO. Scherer had been employed there for over a year, and was considered a model employee. Sometime between 11:40 & 11:50AM, she was abducted from the business. Scherer’s car, keys, and purse were left at the scene. The business was able to determine that $480 in cash was missing from the cash register.
“After so many years, these cases fade from the public’s radar, but for the families and friends of the missing, the nightmare continues — every minute of every day their loved one is missing,” said CUE Founder Monica Caison, who is leading the caravan of volunteers. “We are traveling across the country to make sure no case fades from memory. And we will come to Sikeston to remind everyone that Cheryl Scherer, Jody Ledkins, along with other’s are still missing and their loved ones are searching for a resolution. They need our help and the community’s help to bring them home.”

The family of missing Madeleine McCann have released the last known photograph of their daughter before her abduction three weeks ago.
Last picture of MadeleineThe picture shows her smiling and dangling her feet into a swimming pool.
Madeleine, who has turned four since her abduction, is shown enjoying her holiday less than eight hours before she was snatched from her bed.
The picture was taken by Madeleine's mother Kate, 38, on her own camera.
Her daughter is shown smiling, wearing a pink smock top, white shorts and a sun hat as she cools her feet in the swimming pool.
The picture was taken at 2.29pm on May 3 - Mrs McCann's camera clock is one hour out so the display reads 1.29pm.
Less than eight hours later, before 10pm that night, Madeleine disappeared.
She had been sleeping in the family's holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, when she was abducted.

Kristin Smart has been missing since May 1996 when she left an off campus party with a young man by the name of Paul Flores. Since that time, he has been the only suspect in her disappearance. He has refused to cooperate with the authorities as well as his parents since that time. There was concrete poured on his parent's property the day after Kristin's mysterious disappearance and they've refused to let police search the area. To keep this email short and to keep your attention, the yard was finally under excavation YESTERDAY!!!!!! Kristin will be missing for 11 years on the 25th of this month.
